At the outset, let me thank you all for turning out in full force to make the 11th NATCON at Singapore a grand success on 28th & 29th April. CREDAI’s Annual Convention - NATCON has always been a benchmark event to round up the current industry environment and discuss strategies for the future. Dear friends,
At the 11th NATCON in Singapore I announced, in front of the Honourable Minister of Urban Development Mr Kamal Nath, CREDAI’s firm intention to make a success of The Mission Transparency. I maintain that though the real estate sector is considered to be the breeding ground for corruption, we are the victims and not the beneficiaries of corruption. Having invested heavily in land, developers lose huge sums of money on each day of delay in approvals, which take 2-3 years and involve obtaining over 40 clearances passing through over 150 people. At each stage, people in the system cash in on the desperation of developers.    READ
CREDAI : Code of Conduct
This ‘Code of Conduct’ is recommendatory in nature. The aim of this code of conduct for Developers, Promoters and Builders is to maintain the honour and dignity of Developers, Promoters and Builders in general, to secure the spirit of friendly co-operation between the Developers, Promoters and Builders and their customers in the promotion of highest standard of promotion, development and building activities and to establish transparency, and fair dealing between the developers, promoters and builders with their customers; and to establish a spirit of brotherhood within the Associations of Developers, Promoters and Builders to try and ensure that Developers, Promoters and Builders discharge their responsibilities to the community in general.
